The handle I believe is cast stainless steel and the casting finish quality is far from satisfactory. I had written to Amazon.com to enquire but did not get a response (already >2 weeks had past). The handle appears to be poorly finished post (on the underside which makes it less visible) casting process.

Product is beautiful and works for me except the glass cover. It is way too heavy for a petite 5′ person. I’d rather have a stainless steel cover.

This is the worst wok I have ever used. The bottom is too thick and transmit heat poorly and the side is extremely thin. The result? All the heat seemed to come from the side, which makes EVERYTHINK sticks to the side. Don’t buy this product.

I appreciate all the warnings of not using High heat with this wok. The Wok worked great! My mother loves it, the cover is a bit heavy for her but the overall performance of the pan is fabulous!

Only problem (more a question) I’ve had with this is that it doesn’t have the 18/10 stamp on the pan bottom. Are there 2 versions? I’ve seen some Cuisinart products listed as 18/10 here listed as 18/4 on another site.
All my other 18/10 cookware is stamped 18/10 in one way or another.
