It’s a pot – it cooks. The stainless steel metal is high quality, but thin; the clad bottom is about 1/8″ thick, so it heats evenly. While not heavy duty professional equipment, it is well made and perfectly adequate; I’d say it’s similar to a piece of Farberware in quality.

I purchased this pot because I needed one around this size and the price was so good I decided to take a chance and try it. I was surprised at how well it was made when I redeived it. It’s not half bad. Well balanced with a reenforced bottom for even heating. the lid is very nice. All around a very nice deal. I am happy with this pot for the price.
